The Perfect Guardian for Your Wines
Our Types of Closures
A cork is not just a simple closure; it is the wine’s greatest ally in its preservation and aging. We combine the centuries-old tradition of Sardinian cork with the latest processing technologies to offer wineries a product that protects and enhances every bottle. Our dedication ensures flawless closures, born of respect for nature and industrial precision.
Natural Cork Stoppers: Excellence in Aging
Cut in one piece from the highest-quality cork slabs, these corks are the top choice for wines intended for long-term aging. The natural cellular structure of cork provides unmatched elasticity and a perfect fit around the neck of the bottle. They ensure maximum protection against liquids while, at the same time, allowing for the extremely delicate micro-oxygenation necessary for the bouquet of great wines to mature and fully develop.
Technical Plugs and Micro-Agglomerates: Precision and Reliability
Ideal for wines ready to drink, semi-sparkling wines, and sparkling wines. Our technical corks are made by compressing carefully selected and sanitized cork granules. This technique allows us to produce closures with absolute density and structural uniformity. They offer consistent mechanical performance over time, perfect insulation, and excellent value for the price, while eliminating the risk of fragmentation.
Caps with Washers (Bironcellati): The Ideal Compromise
A solution that combines the reliability of an agglomerated core with the purity of natural cork. Equipped with one or two discs (washers) made of pure natural cork attached to the ends, they ensure that the wine comes into contact only with this noble material, providing an excellent seal at a competitive price.
Guarantee of Purity and Safety
Our quality control department is involved in every stage of the production process to ensure the highest standards of technical and organoleptic excellence.
Prevention of TCA (Cork Taint): We subject our corks to rigorous washing and sanitization processes to remove lignin, dust, and any potential formation of trichloroanisole, ensuring complete aromatic neutrality.
Controlled Density and Elasticity: We constantly monitor the density of our corks (ideally between 150 and 170 kg/m³ for natural corks). A cap with the right density prevents leaks and drips and ensures the perfect extraction force.
Surface Treatment: We apply precision lubricants and anti-dust treatments to ensure the cork slides smoothly into the bottle during bottling and comes out cleanly and without breaking when the bottle is opened.
100% Sustainable: Choosing a cork stopper means making an eco-friendly choice. Cork is a natural, fully renewable, and biodegradable resource, and its harvesting actively contributes to the preservation of forest ecosystems.
